Plant a Little Love **Susan K. Weckesser & Just Imagine & Paper House**

 Kids Blog Hop

This Kids Prize Pack features goodies like our Little Man and Little Girl Paper Pads, our favorite kid-themed 3D Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, and even our fun & tactile Puffy Stickers (and more – it's a $60 value!) This prize pack is not only perfect for making scrapbook pages of your little Monsters and Princesses, but it's also great for crafting up kid-friendly cards and Pinterest-worthy projects!  And to take the fun up another level, we're also giving away Little Man or Little Girl Paper Pads to (5) Runners-Up! That's right – 6 winners for one contest! We like those odds!

Here is my kid project-  a picture of me and my hubby!!

I had these two picture of myself and my husband laying around for a long time.  We are about the same age (between 1-2 years old), the pictures are taken in the spring or summer, and we both just look too cute.  I have never done pictures of us from when we were little kids, and I could just not pass it up.

It is amazing how similar our son Brandon looks to my husband and our daughter looks to me at these ages.  It is just too fun to look back and remember.

I used tons of paper from Paper House productions for all the payers behind the two pictures.  I used a mix of "100% country" and "Garden" 12x12 paper pads.  The colors and dimension just fit these two pictures perfectly!!

Here I used the wonderful stamps from Susan K. Weckesser as background and accent pieces to the layout.  She has the cutest little set with flowers, a bird, and the saying "Earth Hugs in Flowers" and they all fit just perfectly.  Here you can see a close up of how I used the stamps around the layout to enhance the background and the papers.  I even stamped on the flower with the cute little bird.

You can see the punch I used here from Just Imagine, punch number 311 with the C insert.  I punched every layer in the corner and layered them on top of each other for a cool punched layered look.  I also used the wonderful circle cutter to create two different sized circles in the all the layers under the pictures.

I also did not want to change the feel of the layout with a journal spot, so I journaled around the entire layout along the edge, it acts as another layer.

Now on to the Hop list!!
